Product Care Guide

All fabrics used in our garments undergo rigorous testing to ensure that they meet with our high quality standards. To help keep your clothes looking their best, detailed and accurate care labels are written for each item to help prolong the life span of your clothing.

Fabrics

Linen is a natural fabric and one of its unique qualities is that it is prone to creasing. Some linen is washable, while others are dry clean only. All our linen items, unless it has embellishment, can be machine-washed on a low cycle and cool iron on the reverse side to prevent glazing or any shine. For specific washing instructions, always refer to the garment's sewn-in care label.

All knitwear has been made with great care. To keep your garment looking in good condition, we recommend that you store all your knitwear flat to retain its shape, as hanging will result in stretching and damage to the shape. For washing, if there is embellishment, we suggest that you hand wash in lukewarm water and cool iron on the reverse side prevent glazing or any shine. Otherwise, machine-wash and follow the recommended instructions. For specific washing instructions, always refer to the garment's sewn-in care label.

Polyester is one of the key fabrics we use throughout each season. This is due to its versatility and the fact that it dyes well. We tend to use it for tailored garments, such as lined jackets, skirts and trousers. Most of our tailored garments contain acetate lining for which we recommend dry cleaning. Always dry clean matching pieces together so the shades won't vary. For specific washing instructions, always refer to the garment's sewn-in care label.

Beautiful polyester georgette and viscose georgette in both plain and printed patterns often feature in our collections. These fabrics contribute to a major part of range. Caring for these fabrics is quite simple: machine-wash on a low cycle.

Always wash matching garments together to avoid any shade variation or discolouration, and cool iron on the reverse side. For specific washing instructions, always refer to the garment's sewn-in care label.

Many of our summer garments have been specially dyed by hand, which it gives the fabric a beautiful graduated effect and makes each individual garment unique. In caring for this garment, we recommend that you hand-wash separately to prevent colour transferring onto other garments. For specific washing instructions, always refer to the garment's sewn-in care label.

Cotton is a natural fabric which can be easily cared for as it withstands high temperatures. It is prone to creasing which is a natural characteristic of this type of cloth. For specific washing instructions, always refer to the garment's sewn-in care label.

Some of our garments are individually hand-finished to have a wonderful crinkle or pleated appearance. When caring for these garments, we recommend that you remove excess water by wringing or spinning whilst damp. Whilst damp, twist the garment and allow to dry. This will retain the unique crinkle and pleat appearance for the life of the garment. For specific washing instructions, always refer to the garment's sewn-in care label.

Plain jersey and printed jersey is another fabric used often within our range and is selected for its comfort. To care for this type of cloth, you can machine-wash on a low cycle and cool iron on the reverse side to avoid any shine or glazing. For specific washing instructions, always refer to the garment's sewn-in care label.

We offer a selection of embellished garments. Details like embroidery, beading and sequins which have been hand-sewn require extra care. Over time, trims occasionally become loose with wear, but we always provide a repair kit just in case you need to sew them back on. In caring for any garment with embellishment, we suggest that you turn the garment inside-out before washing or dry cleaning. Always use a cool iron on the reverse side and never iron directly onto any trims. For specific washing instructions, always refer to the garment's sewn-in care label.

Given the natural characteristic of the indigo dye used in our garments, the colour may transfer onto the body, clothing and upholstery. We recommend that you do not wear these garments with other light coloured garments. We also suggest that you wash this garment first to remove any excess dye. For specific washing instructions, always refer to the garment's sewn-in care label.
